Creating Bills

To create new Bill go to “Expenses” and then “New Bill”. You will be presented with the form very similar to the one of Invoice. Select Service that was offered or Product that you bought on credit and submit the form.

Few fields things require explanation:

  • Bill Number: This is a unique number that identifies each Bill. If you already have a numbering system, you will have to fill in that number. It is however recommended you live it blank so that the system generates numbers for you.
  • Notes: Sometimes you want to attach some notes to your Bill. Let say you always buy only seven breads a week for your team. But then this week you had to buy 14 breads because you had special guests. You will put that under notes, so that anyone who notes such spike would understand the reason for it.

To add New row of Product or Service just click the any Blue Plus icon on the right of every row. To delete specific row, press Red Trash icon on that specific row.

Once you have filled all the details, click “Create Bill”. The Bill will be created but will be in draft status, and the transaction will not be recorded in your finances yet. That will happen once it is approved.

NOTE: To approve a Bill, you must have a Business Supervisor role.
